{# canonical_base is the OWNING tenant's origin: all 16 Peasy domains serve the same catalogue, so a page rendered by a non-owner points its canonical at the owner instead of competing with it. Falls back to this site for static/self-owned pages. #}

About Crop PDF

Trim margins from PDF pages by adjusting the crop box. Remove whitespace, headers, footers, or other unwanted areas from the edges of your pages. All processing happens locally.

How It Works

This tool uses pdf-lib to set the CropBox on each page, which defines the visible area. Content outside the crop box is hidden but not deleted — the original data remains in the file.

Step by Step

  1. 1 Upload a PDF file
  2. 2 Set the margin to crop from each edge (in points, 72 points = 1 inch)
  3. 3 Optionally specify which pages to crop
  4. 4 Click Crop to apply
  5. 5 Download the cropped PDF

Tips

  • 72 points = 1 inch = 25.4 mm. Use 36 for half an inch.
  • Crop all four sides equally to center the content.
  • Cropping is non-destructive — the hidden content still exists in the file.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I undo the crop?
The crop box can be reset by another PDF tool because the original content is preserved. However, the downloaded file will have the crop applied.
What units are the margin values?
Points (1/72 of an inch). So 72 = 1 inch, 36 = 0.5 inch, 28.35 ≈ 1 cm.
